ಭಾವಪೂರಕ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾಂಜಲಿ
ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾರಸ್ವತ ಲೋಕದ ಮೇರು ಸಾಹಿತಿ , ದಿಗ್ಗಜ ಡಾ. ಎಸ್. ಎಲ್. ಭೈರಪ್ಪರವರು ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ ೨೪, ೨೦೨೫ ರಂದು ದೈವಾಧೀನರಾದರು.
ಅವರ ಸ್ಮರಣಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗಮ – ಸೈನ್ಟ್ ಲೂಯಿಸ್ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಘದ ಅನೇಕ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಾಸಕ್ತರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ, ಭ್ಯರಪ್ಪ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾಂಜಲಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಂಕರ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ರಘು ಪಾಂಡುರಂಗಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ ಕಸ್ತೂರಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಮೋಹನ್ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾರ್, ಶ್ರೀ ಗಿರೀಶ್ ದೀಕ್ಷಿತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಸಂಜೀವ ಅವರುಗಳು ಭ್ಯರಪ್ಪನವರ ಆವರಣ, ಗ್ರಹಣ, ಗೃಹಭಂಗ, ಭೀಮಕಾಯ, ಪರ್ವ, ಉತ್ತರಕಾಂಡ ಮುಂತಾದ ಕೃತಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತ ಭೈರಪ್ಪನವರ ವೈಚಾರಿಕ ಮನೋಭಾವ, ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆ, ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಹಾಗು ಅವರ ತಾರ್ಕಿಕ ನಿಲುವುಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತ ಅವರ ಅಗಲಿಕೆಗೆ ಅಶ್ರು ತರ್ಪಣ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು ನೀಡಿದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಗೌರವ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
A Sombere Tribute
It is with a profound sense of loss that we share the news of the passing of the towering literary giant of Kannada literature, Dr. S. L. Bhyrappa. He ascended to the heavens on September 24, 2025.
In his memory, a solemn program was organized, drawing a gathering of many literary enthusiasts from Sangama, who came together to pay their heartfelt tribute to Dr. Bhyrappa. During this poignant occasion, a number of distinguished attendees – Shri Shankar Shastri, Shri Raghu Pandurangi, Shri Prasanna Kasturi, Shri Mohan Hebbar, Shri Girish Dixit, and Shri Nagendra Sanjeev – spoke movingly about his monumental works, including Aavarana, Grahaṇa, Gruhabhanga, Bhimakaya, Parva, and Uttarakaanda. They reflected deeply on Dr. Bhyrappa’s intellectual fortitude, creative brilliance, scholarly dedication, and unwavering logical standpoints, sharing their personal reflections and shedding tears as an offering to mourn his passing. His immense and lasting contribution to the world of literature was solemnly remembered, and all present paid their respects to his glorious legacy. The literary world is now dimmer for his absence.
