Pandit Ganapati Bhat is a gandabandh shishya, talented disciple of Pandit Basavaraj Rajaguru, the Maestro from Dharwad. Pt. Bhat has drawn inspiration from Kirana, Gwalior and Patiala Gharanas. Pt. Bhat also had the privilege of getting guidance from Pandit C. R . Vyas.
Pt. Ganapati Bhat has a Masters degree in English. He is a sitar artiste who was attracted to Vocal music. In December 1985, he burst into limelight with a resounding performance at the prestigious Sawai Gandharva punyatithi function at Pune. Subsequent performances have established once and for all that the young artiste is very much the torchbearer of an inspired tradition passed on to him by his renowned guru.
Pt. Ganapati Bhat is known for his melodious and powerful voice impeccably suited for Hindustani classical as well as light classical (dasavani) music. Pt. Ganapati Bhat possesses an unparalleled collection of different styles of compositions and is specially known for his clear rendering style. Pt. Bhat is an ‘A’ grade All India Radio artiste.
Pt. Ganapati Bhat has toured extensively all over India and has performed individually and with Pt. Rajguru in several different centers in India. During his tour of USA in 1999, He has performed in New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Boston, San Francisco and other major US cities.
Among the several accolades that he has received is the prestigious Karnataka Rajyothsava award from the government of Karnataka.
Pt. Bhat runs Pandit Ganapati Bhat Music Academy and has been teaching Hindustani music to the next generation of youngsters. The academy has a special scholarship program for classical music students.

Gopalkrishna Hegde (Tabla)
A student of Pt. Sheshgiri Hanagal(Brother of Padmavibhushan Dr.Gangubai Hanagal), holds Sangeet Ratna and Sangeet Vidwat degrees in Tabla. He stood first in the Tabla solo competition organized by the Karnataka State Sangeet Nritya Academy. He has been listed among the talented young artists in Karnataka.
Gopal has established himself as an able accompanist and received acclaim from many of the top performing vocalists, organizers and connoisseurs as well. He has accompanied many great artists in prestigious platforms such as Sawai Gandharva Music Festival Kundgol, Rehamath Khan Punyatithi Samaroh Dharwad, Kumar Gandharva Smruti Samaroh Divas(Madhya Pradesh) and in other cities in India.
He has accompanied Padmavibhushan Dr. Gangubai Hanagal, Pt.Ram Rao Nayak,Pt. Yashwant Bua Joshi, Pt.Ganapati Bhat, Pt.Vinayaka Torvi, Pt. Parameshwar Hegde, and Smt.Shubhada Paradkar.

Ravindra Katoti (Harmonium)
A disciple of Pt. Rambabu Bijapure, a Harmonium exponent of our times. Ravindra’s Harmonium solo playing is marked by presentation in gayki anga along with elaborate exploration of the theme in lucid alap, brilliant layakari,and clear tanakari. He is equally proficient in rendering khayal,thumri,dhun and natyageeth.
He was honored at the hands of His Excellency Dr.P.C.Alexander,Governer of Maharastra state for his top performance in Yuva Sangithotsava held at Ujjain (M.P). Bhatkande Lalith Kala Academy Raipur, M.P conferred on him the title Sur Rathna. He has performed throughout the country and abroad, both as an independent solo artist and an accompanist.
He has accompanied many of the top ranking vocalists of the country including Dr. Gangubai Hanagal, Pt. Bhimsen Joshi, Pt.Jasraj, Pt.Yashwant Bua Joshi, Pt.Ajoy Chakraborthy, Pt.Ganapati Bhat, Ustad Rashid Khan, Smt.Ashwini Bhide, Smt. Shubha Mudgal and Smt.Jayashree Patnekar.
