Starting 8 PM on Wednesday - December 31st, 2003, Sangama will be welcoming the New Year 2004.

Welcome 2004

Thank you all for a remarkable event of fun and talent at the Rajyothsava celebrations last month and the Sangama family once again proved its mettle on that memorable evening. Now, with the year drawing to a close, it is time for that Sangama party which will last late into the night.

We welcome you all to greet the New Year 2004 and celebrate the first minutes of the year in the company of friends and family. It is time to dance, sing, and drink a toast to the year ahead. After the celebrations, it is time to make those New Year resolutions.

Sangama’s foray into 2004 will start on the night of December 31st at the St. Martin’s Episcopal Church (Directions) on Clayton Road.

We look forward to having a wonderful time!

8 PM to ... New Year Eve Celebration

We are on the final few days of the year 2003 and every year it feels like this year moved faster than the last one. The last year’s Sangama New Years party feels like it was a few weeks ago and we are already into another.

The significance of this date has a direct co-relation to all of our personal and professional lives. We hope the economy picks up; we hope the war ends soon; we hurry through the last few days to see how to alleviate tax payments and complete the flex spending.

Many hope the INS processes the immigration papers faster and the job market picks up and the hiring resumes in the New Year and you can make that trip to India you have been waiting for and maybe change this job or open that business. Many remember the year where their kids left home to go to college; many look at the next year where their kids will go away to college.

It is amazing how just one routine sunrise on this day touches a whole lot of lives in several different ways and even though we celebrate another New Year like in Ugadi or Onam or Muharram, January 1st is the beginning of a new day in 2004 that rings new hopes, excitement and anticipation of something better and good ! What better time than now to wish for a new day that shall hopefully dawn into a Happy New Year.
