Was held on Saturday, April 17th, 2004 at The Chrestview Middle School from 5:30 PM up untill 11:00 PM.
The program began with the social gathering followed by mouth watering food including Holige.
The Cultural program began at 8:00 PM with the MC's being Kathyayani Joshi and Vinayaka Sharma. The Cultural program for this Ugadi was dedicated to our "Rashtra Kavi Kuvempu". The invocation song sung by Kumari Aneesha Gururaj, was the "Aniketana" song written by Kumempu.
This was followed by a dance performance by Kumari Amulya Upadhya. Later on we had the Financial Report presentation followed by the elections for the Executive Committee of 2004 - 2005. The Sangama community congratulates The New Committee.
This was followed by the President's Speech which was followed by a Kathak dance performance by Kumari Prachi Mayenkar for the song "Maardaala ... " from the movie Devdas.
Next we had a couple of group songs performed by the Sangama Sangeetotsava Academy".
The main program for the evening was the dance drama "Kinderi Jogi" an adaptation by Kumempu of "The Pide Piper of Hamelin". This was coreographed by Smt. Asha Prem and performed by the children of Sangama.
This dance drama was followed by a dance performance by Kumari Vaishnavi Hariprasad.
Smt. Gayatri Venkatesh presented a Vote of Thanks.
The last program for the evening was a hilarious drama performance "Maduve, Maduve, Maduve". All in all, it was a very enjoyable evening filled with socializing and laughter.

Was held on Friday - January 30th, 2004 at 7:30 PM at the St. Martin’s Episcopal Church
The program began with a beautiful invocation song by Amulya, Rishab and Aditya after which the MC of the program Seshadri Subramanyam indroduced the personalities to the audience and a minute of silence was observed in rememberence of the departed souls.
Smt. Hema Srikanta and Smt. Srilatha Upadhya lit the lamp for K S Na followed by a talk on his life and achievements by Smt. Hema Srikanta.
Smt. Jaya Sastry and Smt. Swarna Devanhalli lit the lamp for Dr. A N Murthy Rao and Shri Shankar Sastry spoke about his life and achievements.
Smt. Suguna Sateesha and Smt. Madhu Bhat lit the lamp for G V Iyer and Shri sateesha spoke about his life and achievements.
Smt. Chaya Gopalan and Smt. Kathyayini Chiplonkar lit the lamp for Ramakrishna Hedge and Shri Arvind Upadhya spoke about his life and achievements.
Fianlly MC Seshadri Subramanyam spoke about the other personalities lost by the Kannada community including Shri Gangadhar, Shri Makeup Nani and Smt. Pandari Bai.
This was followed by a group song led by Smt. Hema Srikanta, a group song by Smt. Vrunda Phadke and Smt. Kathyayini Chiplonkar and lastly a song by Shri Hariprasad accompanied by Shri Shankar Sastry on the flute.
Smt. Srilatha Upadhya, the president of the organization proposed a vote of thanks at the end and the night ended with the screening of G V Iyers movie Hamsa Geethe while the assembled remembered and talked about the personalities over a light dinner.

New Year's Party

Held on Wednesday, December 31st, 2003 starting at 8:00 PM and running into the wee hours of 2004 at The St. Martin's Episcopal Church, it was just fun and fun.
The program kicked off with snacks and music.
There were a lot of fun games for adults as well as children. The games included dance musical chair for adults and kids, memory game for adults, treasure hunt for kids puls a few door prizes. The games ended with Bingo.
New Year 2004 was welcomed with a toast of sparkling non-alcoholic wine and then everyone danced to some good music
In summary, it was a wonderful evening!

Karnataka Rajyothsava

Held on Saturday, November 1st, 2003 between 5:30 PM and 10:30 PM at The Chrestview Middle School, it was a grand success with a huge turn out.
The program kicked off with a welcome speech by the president Smt. Srilatha Upadhya followed by an invocation group song. Then we had a dance performance by Amulya followed by a cute little performance by the 2-04 year old children who swayed to the Kannada music. After this we had "Karnataka Darshana", a guided tour of Karnataka with the guide Shri. Shankar Devanhalli who showed two children Vaishnavi and Vishal who came to Bangalore from the US. The guided tour also introduced the children to various art forms of Karnataka.
This was followed by the wonderful drama performace of "Triple Thali" which was very hilarious and highly enjoyable. The program ended by a flute recital by Shri Shankar Sastry, a modified Kannada son by Shri Sateesha and group and finally a scouple of song recitals by Shri Arvind Upadhya's father.
In summary, it was a wonderful evening!

Ganesha Festival

Held on Sunday, September 7th, 2003 between 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM at The Parkway Central Middle School, it was a grand success with a huge turn out.
There was a pleasant bhajan recital as well as songs sung by the children of Sangama. The puja to Goddess Gowri and Lord Ganesha was performed by Shri Shankar Sastry (As always. Shri Shankar Sastry has been performing the puja for the last 19 years and considers it his duty which reflects his humbleness. Sangama is proud to have them as a part of the family).
After the puja there was 1st,2nd & 3rd prizes given for the Ganesha Painting done by the children in three age groups of 2-5 6-9 and 10-12. Sangama thanks all the judges. All the children showed there talents by participating and coming up with wonderful paintings. All the partigipants received gifts for their participation. Three cheers to them! Last but least there was awsome food prepared by members of Sangama.
On this occassion, there was a very beautiful Ganesha painting unvieled. This was a painted and gifted by Sangama's very talented Smt. Vrundamala Phadke. Please take a look at the image of the painting and also the article on ThatsKannada.COM.

Independence Day

Was held on Sunday, August 17th, 2003 at the Mahatma Gandhi Center which began with the Flag Hoisting ceremony begining at 11 AM.
Sangama had a food stall at the celebrations with mouth watering Masala Dosa, Idli, Vada and Puliyogare and also a "Mehndi" stall for the occasion. The food and the Mehndi were a grand hit with people coming back for more. We Thank all for the participation and for making this fund raiser a grand success!

Hindustani Classical Music

Was held on Sunday, August 3rd, 2003 at The St. Louis Hindu Temple from 4:30 PM till 8:00 PM. This was a wonderful experience of Hindustani Clasical music. Pandit Ganapathi Bhat was absolutely wonderful and so were Ravindra Katoti on the Harmonium and Gopalkrishna Hegde on Tabla.
