ವಿನೋದಭರಿತ ಆಚರಣೆ
ವಿಶ್ವ ಅಪ್ಪಂದಿರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದ ನಿತ್ಯ ನಾಯಕರಾದ ತಂದೆಯಂದಿರಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತವಾದ ಹರ್ಷಭರಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಹೃದಯಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿ ಗೌರವಾಚರಣೆ ಆಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ತಾಜಾ ಮಸಾಲ ಮಜ್ಜಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲ್ಲಂಗಡಿ ಹಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿ, ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನಕ್ಕೆ ತಣ್ಣನೆಯ ಅನುಭೂತಿ ನೀಡಿತು.
ರುಚಿಕರವಾದ ಭೇಲ್ ಪುರಿ ಕ್ಷಣಾರ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ತಟ್ಟೆಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾಯವಾಗಿ, ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದದ ಭಾವನೆ ಮೂಡಿಸಿತು. ಊಟದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ “ಮಿನಿಟ್ ಟು ವಿನ್ ಇಟ್” ಆಟವನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತನಾ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ವೇತಾರವರು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ನಗು, ಕೇಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನೇಹಪೂರ್ಣ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾತ್ಮಕತೆ ತುಂಬಿತ್ತು. ಗಿರೀಶ್ ದೀಕ್ಷಿತ್ ವಿಜೇತರಾಗಿ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿದಾಗ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಯಿತು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಟ್ item (ವಸ್ತು) ಎಂದರೆ, ಸಂಗಮ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯಿಂದ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ತಾಜಾ ಕಬ್ಬಿನ ಹಾಲು.
ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಜೊತೆಯಾಗಿ, ಉತ್ಸಾಹಭರಿತ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರಿಂದ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ grill (ಸುಟ್ಟ) ಮಾಡಲಾದ ತಾಜಾ ಜೋಳವು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಆಯಾಮ ನೀಡಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಕನ್ನಡ ಪದಗಳ ಆಟಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯಿತು, ಇದು ಬುದ್ಧಿ, ನೆನಪು ಮತ್ತು ಕನ್ನಡ ಪದಗಳ ಪಾಂಡಿತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿತು. ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಊಹಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು ಪಾರಂಪರಿಕ ಕನ್ನಡ ಪದಗಳನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ತರುವವರೆಗೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿತು. ವಿನೋದ್ ಅವರ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಆಟವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿದ ಸುಷ್ಮಾ ಮತ್ತು ರಶ್ಮಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳು. ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯ ಅಂತಿಮ ಸುತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪುಲಕೇಶಿ ವಿಜೇತರಾದರು.
ಪಾರಂಪರಿಕ ಊಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾವ್ ಭಾಜಿ, ಪುಳಿಯೋಗರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮೊಸರನ್ನ ಇದ್ದವು, ನಂತರ ಕೇಕ್, ಬ್ರೌನಿ ಮತ್ತು Ice Cream ಮೊದಲಾದ ಸಿಹಿ ಖಾದ್ಯಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಕದ್ದಿತು. ಈ ಅಮೋಘ ಭೋಜನವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿದ ಸಂಗಮ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳು. ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿಸಿದ ಕ್ಷಣವೆಂದರೆ ಫಾದರ್ಸ್ ಡೇ ಕೇಕ್ ಕತ್ತರಿಸುವ ಸಮಾರಂಭ, ಇತ್ತೀಚಿಗಷ್ಟೇ ತಾತನ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಭಡ್ತಿ ಪಡೆದಿರುವ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶಂಕರ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ತಂದೆಯಂದಿರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ತಲೆಮಾರಿನ ಬಂಧವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಪಿನ್ಯಾಟಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವ ಅವಕಾಶವಿತ್ತು, ಇದು ಎಂದಿನಂತೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು, ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಕ್ಯಾಂಡಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಓಡಿದರು.
ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಮ ಸಂಘದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಮನರಂಜನೆಯ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಮುಂದುವರೆಯುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಂದಾಗಿ ನಕ್ಕು ನಲಿದ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಮೆಲುಕು ಹಾಕುತ್ತ, ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಘದ ಮುಂಬರುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ರೋಚಕಮಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಎದುರು ನೋಡೋಣ.
ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾತಿದೆ… “ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಕೊನೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ” … ಆದರೆ ಅದು ಸಂಗಮಾಕ್ಕೆ ಅನ್ವಯಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಮನರಂಜನೆಯ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಮುಂದುವರೆಯುತ್ತವೆ… ಜುಲೈನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು surprise ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತಯಾರಾಗಿ ಇರಿ!
A Fun Filled Event
The Father’s Day celebration was a joyful and heartfelt tribute to the everyday heroes—our fathers—who quietly anchor their families with strength, love, and unwavering dedication.
The event commenced with refreshing ಮಸಾಲ ಮಜ್ಜಿಗೆ and watermelon, providing a pleasant start to a warm summer afternoon. The flavorsome street snack – ಭೇಲ್ ಪುರಿ – disappeared from the plates within no time, evoking a sense of nostalgia for ALL as they enjoyed the snack.
A lively minute-to-win-it challenge was organized for the fathers, led energetically by Keerthana and Shwetha. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, cheers, and friendly competition, culminating in Girish emerging as the winner, much to everyone’s delight.
The highlight and hit item of the event was undoubtedly the freshly squeezed authentic sugarcane juice, meticulously arranged by the Sangama EC.
Furthermore, freshly roasted corn, grilled to perfection by an enthusiastic set of volunteers, added to the BBQ flavor and culinary experience.
The festivities continued with engaging Kannada word games that required wit, memory, and teamwork. From guessing iconic movie dialogues to recalling classic Kannada words, the participants were thoroughly engaged. Thanks to Vinod for the concept and Sushma and Rashmi for crafting the content, Santosh and Pulakeshi won the contest after a competitive round.
The event featured a traditional meal encompassing ಪಾವ್ ಭಾಜಿ, ಪುಳಿಯೋಗರೆ and ಮೊಸರನ್ನ, followed by an enticing dessert table featuring cake, brownies, and ice cream. Kudos to the Sangama members for their efforts in preparing an unforgettable feast.
A particularly poignant moment was the Father’s Day cake-cutting ceremony, celebrating new grandfathers Manjunath & Shankar Shastry, along with all the other dads – marking a meaningful milestone and honoring the generational bonds within the community.
Children also had their share of fun with the piñata activity, which was as usual a delightful success, with the kids scrambling for their share of the candy catch 😊.
The saying goes … “all good things must come to an end” … but that does not apply to Sangama as the fun filled activities and event continue …. Stay tuned for a surprise event in July!
