St. Louis Indian Cultural Association (SLICA)

The St. Louis Indian Cultural Association (SLICA) is a nonprofit organization committed to celebrating, preserving, and promoting the diverse cultural heritage of India in the heart of the Midwest. Founded by a group of passionate community members, SLICA serves as a platform for the vibrant Indian diaspora in the Greater St. Louis area to stay connected, engage with traditions, and share the richness of Indian culture with the broader community.

At SLICA, we believe that culture is a bridge—one that connects generations, communities, and identities. Through festivals, educational programs, cultural events, and outreach initiatives, we aim to foster a strong sense of belonging among Indian Americans and deepen connections with the residents of St. Louis, while encouraging meaningful intercultural exchange.

Whether you’re a long-time resident, a newcomer to St. Louis, or simply someone interested in exploring Indian traditions, you’ll find a warm welcome at SLICA. Together, we celebrate our roots, embrace our diversity, and build a more connected and inclusive future.
